  27.   Probably because it wasn't mounted to tell the system it is there. 
  28. There is a very good utility, which is pretty essential if you have a 
  29. portable drive anyway. It is called SCSI-Mounter. This will tell you what 
  30. drives you have on that particular device (I have both scsi.device and 
  31. gvpscsi.device on my system) and mounts the device you pick. Also, if it 
  32. is on the external SCSI connector, and it is the only device there, it 
  33. has to be terminated. Hope this helps some.
